So, upon great deliberation, we recommend the Roman Empire to our fellow Mahabirians. The Roman Empire scores superior marks in stability, sense of community, intelligence. The Romans were very good in stability since there was no dynastic cycle that could get rid of the Mandate of Heaven, therefore giving rise to a new leader and a new way of life. They were excellent as a far as a sense of community is concerned, seeing as they divided the empire into parts, but there was still a sense of national pride. It was important that one was a Roman, more so than being from a particular city. The leaders from Rome were also very intelligent, as can be seen from Augustus’ and Julius Caesar’s military strategy. The only area in which the Roman leaders are lacking is humility. The Romans, while brilliant, also knew they were brilliant, and they were a very boastful people as a result. Overall, the Roman Empire would be a great place for us to settle based on leadership.
